Naiomi Enterprises presents 999, which is a cementitious based product with a specially graded spherical aggregate that produces a non-bleeding, pumpable, ultra-high strength grout and patching compound. The compound is bleed resistant for horizontal, inclined, and vertical placements. 999 meets all compressive strength and vertical height change requirements of ASTM (C928/ C928M - 09). The ultra-high strength remedial compound is formulated with several highly reactive cementitious sands, additives and high performance fibers.

Directions Of use

Surface Preparation

Concrete surfaces must be structurally sound, free of loose or deteriorated concrete and free of dirt, efflorescence,oil and all other contaminants. Properly should be no puddled water. The repair must be made before the scrub coat dries out.

Mixing

Settling may occur during transportation. Dry mix 999 powder before mixing.
Use a clean container.
Do not overwater. Do not exceed 30% water by volume.

Note: Water temperature should not exceed 240C. Higher water temperature will shorten pot life. Only use potable water

Use a low-speed mixer (at about 300 rpm) to mix for a maximum of 2 minutes.Mix thoroughly to a smooth, lump-free consistency.
Do not mix more material than can be applied within 8 to 15 minutes.
Avoid air entrapment and prolonged mixing, which will introduce air and shorten pot life.

Application Preparation :

Clean all surfaces of dirt, oil and any loose material. Surfaces should be free of any defects.
Clean mixing apparatus, ensure potable water, check mixing methods, and working temperatures.

Placement :

One-Coat Application : (Dampen surface requiring patch do not wet with excessive amounts of water.)

Use a flat-edged steel trowel.
Immediately apply mixed 999 to the substrate, according to the desired thickness -up to 50mm maximum.
Blend into the surrounding area and finish to the required smoothness.

Two-Coat Application :

Use a flat-edged steel trowel.
First coat: Thickness should be maximum 3mm (For Application,One-Coat Application). Allow to dry for minimum 1 hr.
Second coat: Immediately apply mixture of 999 to the first coat substrate according to the desired thickness, from 1 to 6 mm. Ensure that all areas with a first coat are completely covered by a second coat.
